FORD RANGER TACHOGRAPH FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
MANUAL 2012 DEISEL 12V
1- Remove blanking plug that is found on gearbox and install the 2171-20002301 that is supplied in the kit
2- The sender cable can be routed underneath the vehicle and fed through the grommet
on the nearside under the bonnet and though to underneath the glove box
The DTCO will be located in the coin tray with supplied cover
All The electrical connections can be found on a grey plug found behind the centre consol
3- Remove the grey plug and replace it with the A plug supplied in the kit

4- Connection independent motion signal (IMS)
The IMS will connected to OBD plug 3 to 11
The OBD plug can be found behind the compartment above the bonnet catch

As from 1st October 2012 According to Regulation (EU) No 1266/2009 (Annex1b) it is a legal requirement that an independent motion signal is connected to an activated DTCO, Therefore for this digital installation a connection must be made on the OBD plug. Using the CTCII the tachograph must be programmed to Ford Ranger
